Akkeshi-ohashi big bridge

This bridge connecting either side of the north and the south of Akkeshi Lake is the red bridge of 456.5 m in length drawing a big arc. It can be said to be a symbol of Akkeshi Town.

Aikappu-misaki cape

A lookout to give a panoramic view of Akkeshi Bay. Known as a romantic cape said to be a place where love and wish come true by visiting it. “Bell of the Love” bell arch rings beautiful sounds as the symbol.

Kokutaiji Temple

A historic temple established between 1804 and 1805. While most of the existing buildings had gone through repairs in later ages, it is a designated national historic site as an important old site.

Ayame-ga-hara field

300,000 rootstocks of Arctic irises blossoming in the aboriginal flower garden from the last third of June to the first third of July, entice visitors into the world of the fantasy.

Akkeshi Lake/Benten-jinja Shrine

To the extent there is a view that the name of Akkeshi comes from “Place where there are oysters”, oysters and Akkeshi are in a relationship that can never be separated. Benten-jinja Shrine established on Kakijima (meaning “Oyster Island”) in Akkeshi Lake has continued to protect the sea of Akkeshi and the people’s life for a long time.

“Conchiglie” means “Food of shellfish shape” in Italian. Facility to create a food culture with Akkeshi oysters in the center. From the scenic dome, a panoramic view of Akkeshi Lake and Akkeshi Bay is given.
